THE SYDNEY RUN CLUB

In April 2025, in collaboration with The Sydney Run Club, The Bondi Runner was live painted on the Bondi Boardwalk during their Friday morning run. Conceived as both a celebration of community and a tribute to the pursuit of good health, the work also sought to capture the rhythm and vitality of the iconic Bondi Beach. Painted live and in situ, the process became part of the performance, with the ocean, movement of the runners, and energy of the morning forming an integral part of the artwork itself.

The Bondi Runner marks the launch of a new live painting series that places art directly within its environment, drawing on the spirit of the location and the people who inhabit it. More than a finished canvas, each piece is a time-stamped moment of connection—between place, community, and artist—embodying the idea that art is not separate from life, but created in dialogue with it.
